Jenny's Bead Page

Every summer the local college hosts a program for kids in K-12 grades called "College for Kids" for 2 weeks every summer. Kids get to go do fun stuff in a classroom setting like make rockets, learn pottery on a wheel, and learn how to do beadwork. My daughter took the beading class one year and she learned how to make Daisy Chains. The next thing I knew she wanted to use MY 40 year old seed beads to make HER daisy's with!

After a trip to Wal-Mart, the only place in town that sold seed beads at the time, these were two of her creations.

Jenny surprised me with this necklace which is a variation on Larry the Lizard.
